Our Mission
The Invisible Hand Foundation, Inc., provides assistance to financially distressed and underprivileged citizens of the greater Washington DC-Maryland-Virginia region to enable each one to overcome obstacles preventing them from pursuing a constructive endeavor.
What Sets Us Apart
Our mission is inspired by the “Ladder of Charity” developed by the noted 12th Century Spanish scholar and philosopher Maimonides, who ranks anonymous giving to anonymous recipients as one of the highest forms of charity. We believe that the dignity of those in need is of paramount importance. Our beneficiaries and benefactors will always be anonymous to each other. We lift our neighbors because they need a lift; our donors want nothing in return, not even recognition.
